ford australia goes green at g-star raw

Last night, I visited the G-Star Raw store in Mid City Centre on Pitt St. Mall with the lovely Joelyne from The Sydney Girl to celebrate ‘Ford Australia Goes Green’.

The reason for our visit, was to attend a fun yet very informative evening held by the folks from Ford Australia. Ford have recently launched the latest model of their Ford Focus which has already hit Australian roads! The 2011 model of the Ford Focus was built to be Eco-sustainable using recycled post consumer materials to create things like battery trays, carpets and seat fabrics. As G-Star are also sustainably aware, it was the perfect place for the event.

We were all treated with bubbly, sparkling water, canapes and our own personal denim fitting session with a personal stylist. At the end of the session, each of us got to take home our very own pair of G-Star jeans! Amazing, I know!

Now, I admit I am not really a jeans girl – but the pair that I took home, I think were a pair made in heaven (for me anyway!). I’ll be posting about them soon, so stay tuned!
