So glad we got at least a day’s worth of sunshine here in Sydney today after having a very wet and windy Saturday. Although if you follow me on Instagram/Twitter, you may have seen that yesterday was still quite a productive day for me – I bought a fuckin’ electric guitar!

The purchase was yet again, another YOLO moment (see here) and the story went a little like this – Subconscious One: ‘I’ve always dreamt of playing the guitar’ Subconscious Two: ‘Well, why the fuck don’t you then?’ Subconscious One: ‘You know what? You’re right – YOLO afterall!’

And instead of putting it in the “too hard basket”, this so-called dream was finally actioned upon and here I am – living the dream, one power chord at a time.

Wearing: Bell Bottom Jeans, Karen Walker. Bikini Top, Quirky Circus. Shirt, Yeojin Bae. Sunglasses, Sportsgirl. Cuff and Ring, both Samantha Wills.

I am so excited to be sharing with you the first of my two looks that I was asked to put together for the latest edition of the Samantha Wills’ Blogger Style Sessions.

Four other Australian bloggers, as well as myself were briefed to style both a day and a night look using three pieces from the exclusive Gunmetal and Turquoise collection. I was absolute thrilled to finally get my hands on some gunmetal coloured jewellery, as it’s something that I have been lusting after for some time now.

You can view the rest of the bloggers’ looks on the Samantha Wills Facebook page.

This is the most mismatched I have ever seen you!“, was what Jacob said to me prior to shooting this outfit. I must agree with him on this one – none of what I’m wearing here really goes together, but whatever – it was a fun outfit to put on!

Apologies for the lack of personal style posts of late – with daylight savings no longer around, it makes it hard to find time (and light) to shoot on a regular basis. I do however have a few exciting things coming up that I can’t wait to share with you very, very soon!

On a completely different note, I’ve been slowly clearing out my wardrobe to tidy things up a bit and to also make room for Winter apparel. I’ve listed some things on eBay – starting off with a few pairs of my beloved Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Check them out if you are a size 7!
